About ADB's Technical Assistance on Capacity Development for M&E
In 2007, ADB's Independent Evaluation Department formulated technical
assistance 6410 for Capacity Development for Monitoring and Evaluation.
In the evaluation agencies targeted, higher efficiency
and effectiveness in public sector service provision, leading to poverty
improved ranges of skills, resources, systems,
and attitudes for performance of results-based M&E of country partnership
strategies, sector strategies, policies, programs, and projects in the
Greater Mekong subregion.
Technical Assistance Supports Workshop in Shanghai
ADB's technical assistance on Capacity Development for M&E brought
together 17 participants from Viet Nam, Laos, and Cambodia for the Public
Sector and Monitoring workshop on 7-9 October. The workshop was conducted
at the Asia Pacific Finance and Development Center (AFDC) in Shanghai,
PRC. Immediately after this, participants attended the Shanghai International
Program on Development Evaluation Training (SHIPDET), held from 10-20
October also in AFDC. More
Senior Policy Officials from Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam Attend M&E
Course in Kuala Lumpur
Nine participants from Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam, consisting of senior
policy officials and national consultants, attended a monitoring and evaluation
course in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 20-24 July 2009. This was supported
